Logo usage guidelines

When using the Dovetail logo, keep these things in mind:

  1. Always leave generous space around the logo so it’s never cramped.

  2. Maintain the original aspect ratio and do not distort the logo.

  3. Use the recommended colors and do not recolor the logo.

  4. Use the correct format for the medium (e.g. EPS for print, SVG for web).

  5. Use the correct size so it’s not ‘pixelated’ or ‘blurry’.

Logo colors

The two colors used in variations of the logo are:

  • Indigo (#0C0020)

  • White (#FFFFFF)

Logo usage examples

In the majority of instances we recommend using our full logo as the primary representation of our brand. It can be applied in full color or reverse depending on the background. It's important to always ensure high contrast between both the logo and background for legibility.

For smaller formats that don't support our full logo, such as profile icons or favicons, use the brandmark badge.

Brand do's and don'ts

Please do these

Do consider the size, placement and surrounding composition when using our logo and brandmark.

Do ensure a high level of contrast between our marks and the background.

Do use the full logo for all spaces that support it, and the badge for those that don't.

Please don't do these

Don't modify or adjust our logo or brandmark in any way.

Don't remove the brandmark from the logo.

Don't claim our brand or logo as your own, or use it as such.
