During analysis, people work across many different notes, tags, and insights – sometimes across projects. We’ve heard from you that it sometimes can be difficult to maintain context utilizing data from multiple projects and navigating between these projects. To help with this, we’ve launched the ability to ‘minimize’ notes, tags, and insight across Dovetail.

Clicking Minimize on a dialog will pin it to the bottom of your browser – allowing you to easily jump back in at any time. Items you minimize will persist while navigating across projects, and if you leave Dovetail and come back, they’ll still be there.

This feature was born out of Dovetail’s first hackathon, where our team hacked away on projects to innovate and work on experimental features and ideas that solve customer problems.

We’d love to hear your feedback and any ideas that would improve how you use Dovetail. Send us feedback in-product, in our Slack workspace, or by getting in touch with us.
